One cold morning I decided to try to capture the frost that was on the window pane. That frost image is printed on the top layer of silk. The background image is of pine trees decorated for the Holidays. Most of the lights on the trees are stitched with either rayon or metallic threads. The snowflakes and the top silk layer have been painted with metallic watercolors and heat set.

silk and cotton fabrics, wool batting, cotton backing, silk, rayon and metallic threads. Machine quilted.
