This piece combines two pictures from the southwest: an agave cactus from Scottsdale and the red rocks of Sedona. Both photographs were printed on silk, quilted one layer at a time, and then “framed” with a green batik.

Silk and cotton fabrics, wool batting, cotton backing, cotton, polyester and metallic threads. Machine-quilted.
