Quilts > Landscapes > Snow, Snowshoes and the Snake River
Description:

The Visitor’s Center in Grand Teton National Park allows visitors to rent wooden snow shoes from World War II. The guided hike winds along the Snake River for a bit, which is the background photograph used in this wall-hanging. Both pictures were printed on silk and Angelina fibers were added between the layers for sparkle. While the snow shoes and background were quilted to enhance the images, the border has only snowflakes.
