Remember how, in grade school, you used to fold paper and cut snow flakes? That is the method used to make each of the white snowflakes. There are over 100 snowflakes on this piece, and every one is different. Some snowflakes are appliquéd, some are embroidered and the rest are quilted. The background is hand dyed.
