This quilt combines two photographs taken on a trip to Yellowstone in 2008. The elk was standing on a low rise near the road as we drove through Grand Teton National Park. The second photograph was taken near the same spot, but on the other side of the road, showing fall colors in the Park. Both photos were printed on silks.

Silk and cotton fabrics, wool batting, cotton backing, silk and cotton threads. Machine-quilted.
